Cosy, characterful & charming...

When I think back to this autumnal day in October there's one thing I'll always remember so crystal clear - their beaming smiles. From ear to ear, all day long and it was infectious. Molly & Jason made it official in the rustic barn at Longlands, Cartmel. The day started with prep by the roaring fires in the charming house at Longlands. Molly was the boho queen in lace and her bridesmaids wore mismatched dresses chosen by themselves - it worked SO well! Styled with seasonal rust oranges and Molly's handmade crochet pumpkins, the barn was the perfect romantic setting for their ceremony surrounded by their loved ones, before they all headed back to get cosy in front of the fires in the house with colour coordinated Aperol Spritz served for their drinks reception. Molly & Jason weren't into formal group shots, so for their wedding party photos we had a bit of fun and mixed it up a little. This was the moment I knew the infectious positive energy that shone from Molly & Jason had in fact spread to their whole wedding party as when I asked them all to dance around the bride and groom they began a crazy synchronised performance and we were all in hysterics! Next followed some equally emotional and hilarious speeches and a birthday cake for the bride's brother (that's right, she dared to get married on her big brother's birthday). The day ended with everyone filling the dance floor for some indie rock bangers, which was right up my street, and I left on a total buzz!
